2018 starts off in the deep freeze Probably the biggest story for 2018 is the deep freeze we all find ourselves in. For our area of Michigan this will be the first time in 3 years that we had a awesome start to the ice fishing season! We have so much ice in our area that our own St Clair River has filled with ice and started to cause flooding due to ice jams. Fish Fry Fundraiser big success!

We at Anglers Outfitters would like to thank the fine men and women of the Lake St Clair Walleye Association (LSCWA) for their generosity and support for our community fish cleaning station. They came out on sat aug 27th and spent the day here at Anglers, in the heat, to put on one of the best fish frys I have ever attended! I was blown away by the organization of this club. Testing a new fish attractant

Monday Eve I was able to get out fishing with my friend Duane. I had some new fish attractant I wanted to test and decided this would be as good a time as any.  We had been hearing that the bite north of St Clair was good so we headed north to fish harnesses.
